Fundraising Events

In order to continue our mission of providing counseling to ALL, regardless of their economic circumstances, we need help from the community. Holding fundraising events is one of the methods employed to raise the funds needed to span the difference between the cost of providing an hour of counseling and the amount clients are able to pay.

Join us for the 18th Annual Dancing with the Rockford Stars, Black & White Edition, Sneaker Gala! Lace up your finest sneakers and dress in black and/or white if you’d like.

Come enjoy our lively gala while mingling, bidding, and dancing the night away. Our five Local Celebrity Couples are working hard to perfect their routines with our partnering dance studios, getting ready to WOW the crowd and take home one of our Coveted Mirror Ball Trophies! The Judges’ Choice Award will be given to the dancers who get the highest score from our three Celebrity Judges. The People’s Choice Award will be won by the dancers with the most votes cast by the public – online and live at the event. Every $1 = 1 vote. Add a delicious meal by Greenfire, table wine purchase options brought to us by Artale & Co., a DJ from Luxe Productions, along with live and silent auctions for a fun filled kick-off to the holiday & giving season. All proceeds are used to keep mental health counseling accessible and affordable for those who need it.

Enjoy the amazing Rockford views from the rooftop while you sip on brunch cocktails (included in your ticket price) and indulge in a lavish brunch brought to you by Greenfire Restaurant Bar & Bakery. The Cheaters Spelling Bee! Round up your friends for the biggest test of your knowledge, memory and nerves of steel ever held in the Rockford area. This isn’t just any spelling bee, but one that is focused on adults where you can “cheat” to help you and your team win! Raise Bee Bucks with your team to purchase cheats at the competition and win the Trophy. You can also come up with a Team Name, costumes, table props, and decor to wow the judges and spectators. There will be a prize awarded to the team with the best theme of the evening. Don’t want to start a team? No worries! Just purchase a spectator ticket and join us for dinner and a show. Can’t wait to see you all for an evening of entertainment to benefit Family Counseling Services!
