Family Counseling Services has announced the selection of Eileen M. Liezert, LCSW, as its new Interim Executive Director.

“We are very pleased to announce this appointment,” reported David Larson, FCS Board President. “Eileen brings leadership and professional administrative experience to FCS’ agency services. She has worked as a therapist, as well as an administrator of nonprofit functions, and has a breadth of experience to share with our clients.”

Liezert’s resume includes 30 years of service at Children’s Home + Aid in Rockford, IL. She initially worked as a supervisor, and then, director of CH+A foster care, adoption and guardianship, and mental health programs. In 2009, Liezert assumed the role of Regional Vice President of Children’s Home + Aid, providing leadership for programming within 10 counties of Northern Illinois.

“I look forward to continuing to serve the area’s mental health service needs in this new capacity as FCS Interim Executive Director,” states Liezert. “FCS has a long history of providing quality, affordable mental health counseling to the community, with an emphasis on serving those without means. I’m dedicated to this mission because it provides real impact on the overall health of our community.”
